Does the saree come with a blouse?

No, not all Authority of Fashion sarees come with blouse but majority comes with an unstitched blouse piece. You can get it stitched to your measurements locally.

Will the colour look exactly like the photo?

We photograph our sarees under controlled lighting to represent colours as accurately as possible. Minor variations may occur due to screen settings, but we maintain strict colour consistency across our catalogue.

Is the fabric transparent or sheer?

Our georgette and chiffon sarees are lightweight and have a natural sheerness — this is part of their design. The drape is sensual but always elegant. Our Royal Crepe and Shimmer collections offer more coverage for those who prefer it.

What is the difference between georgette and chiffon?

Georgette is slightly heavier with a subtle texture and fluid drape — ideal for all occasions. Chiffon is lighter and more breathable, perfect for summer and intimate evenings. Both are sheer and sensual. Royal Crepe is the most structured and premium of our fabrics, with a smooth, opaque finish.

What saree is best for a date night?

Sarees are one-size — a standard 5.5 metre drape that fits every woman regardless of body type. There is no size guessing with sarees. This is one reason sarees make the perfect gift.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery takes 5–7 business days across India. Express shipping (2–3 business days) is available at checkout. We ship pan-India.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer a 2-day easy exchange from the date of delivery — no questions asked. If the saree is not right for any reason, contact us and we will arrange an exchange.

Care

How do I wash and care for my After Dark saree?

Dry clean is recommended for all georgette, chiffon, and shimmer sarees to preserve fabric quality and colour. If hand washing, use cold water with mild detergent and do not wring. Store flat or loosely rolled, away from direct sunlight.
